2 NFC tags are on this ring. One on top and one below. . NFC is a big feature in this ring as it can do a lot. Project Aquaria is also called NFC ring for the sole reason of it having NFC capabilities.
You can add people phone contacts via bumping as the top NFC can save Vcard format.  It can also program the tag with a shortcut to your favorite application to launch it quickly.
The lower tag however, we can use it as part of a authentication system. The gesture-based control system of the NFC Ring ensures that your data will be safe and it reaches appliances from a distance. Privacy is key and hence the thickness of your finger is too much for the radio waves that activate the NFC Ring’s tags to pass through. It means that as long as you are wearing it on your finger your data is save.
